Dear Friend of Lawrence Heritage State Park,
I am writing to invite you to this year’s Annual Meeting of the Friends of Lawrence Heritage State Park. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 28, at 12:00, at the Park’s Visitor Center. As usual the gathering will begin with lunch, followed by a short business meeting, and end with a guest speaker.
Our speaker for this year, the Park’s 40th Anniversary, will be Dave O’Neill, the Park’s Founding Supervisor. Dave’s got some good stories from those early years, which I for one am looking forward to!
Our brief business meeting will include the election of a slate of Board members and officers. In fact there are officer positions which could be transitioned or shared. If you as a Friends member might be interested in being more active, on or off the Board, feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities.
